Students Sign with Colleges
Over the years, St. Louis University High School has created a storied athletic program, one marked by significant achievement and exceptional talent. Today the tradition continues as SLUH senior athletes sign letters of intent with universities.
Following is a list of SLUH signees:
Football
Niko Mafuli: committed to Northwestern
Highlights: All State, 1st team; All Metro, 1st team; All MCC, 1st team; rated as the Best Linemen in the Metro St. Louis Area by Dan Heitert of STC Grid Reports
Soccer
Cole Grossman: committed to Duke
Highlights: All Metro, 2nd team; trained in Brazil as a junior
Matt Leinauer: committed to DePaul
Highlights: All Metro, 2nd team; led a balanced attack with 20 goals, 14 assists in 2006
Andy Weis: committed to Loyola-Chicago
Highlights: All Metro, Honorable Mention
Tennis
Abe Souza: committed to Illinois
Highlights: All Metro, 1st Team; helped lead the Jr. Bills to a state title in 2006
Volleyball
Murphy Troy: committed to USC
Highlights: All Metro, 1st Team
