Memorable Night for SLUH Football
The Jr. Billikens earned their first victory of the season 28-14 over Althoff, a top-ranked school in Illinois, on Friday, September 7th in a game delayed by stormy weather. The evening was also highlighted with a dedication to the SLUH football office in memory of Dan Demmas '44.
An opening prayer was offered in memory of Dan Demmas, Chris Zandstra and Nancy Leibach (mother of senior Mike Leibach). The football team is now 1-1 on the season and plays next at home versus Chaminade this Friday, September 14 at 7:00 p.m.
