Soccer Team Ranked Second in Nation
In addition to jumping to a 15-0 record, the St. Louis University High School varsity soccer team has climbed from No. 3 to No. 2 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America national rankings.
The Junior Billikens have already captured the CBC and CYC Tournaments, the latter at which they defeated Chaminade 2-0 in the championship game. Chaminade is the only other local team in the NSCAA top 25, ranked at No. 20. St. Benedict's Prep of Newark, N.J. is No. 1.
In the Region VII rankings, SLUH is ranked No. 1. These rankings include Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota.
